Presidents report:
We are doing a lot more advertising this year for the GCBA & The GCBA Website. Remember, all members can log into their listing at any time to update any specials you’re having, upload your logo, mission statements, etc. No limit as to how many times you can log in.
We’ve purchased ads with Parks & Rec. It includes a backer board at the ice arena, a banner at the ball fields, and an ad in their semi annual newsletter / Playbook
We are sponsoring a pig at the annual Kiwanis pig races
We also advertised with Auto’s for Autism for their flyers and newsletters
New business:
The GCBA along with the DDA & GCYAA are working together to try and get participants for the Kerwin Classic to come into our city and shop/eat/visit some of our local businesses. The participants are given an app on their phone that will advertise the businesses that are participating. The Kerwin Classic brings about 3500 people attending. It runs 4/21 - 4/23
Old Business:
MITP/BIZBEE Vendor Show
~ Sponsorships are open and listed on the website. We have our headliner - Tipton Academy PTO
Email Mike at gbcavicepres@gmail.com if you’re interested in sponsorship
Bizzbee Vendor Show: We have received a few applications for the vendor show, and we’ll accept them all the way up to the events. It’s a great way to get your name out to your local residents. Also non-profits are invited to attend at no charge.
Vendor spaces are no charge for GCBA members. Sponsors are also allotted space at no charge and will have their pick of location.
We are also looking for volunteers for all 3 events.
