Construction will take approximately three months to complete, weather permitting. The improvements include widening the road, sidewalk, and drainage and adding parking.
East Mars Lane is closed to thru-traffic to allow construction to be completed safely and on time. The project bid was awarded to RBM Contractors L.L.C., with engineering for the project completed in-house, resulting in a total savings of $110,000 on the project design.
