The 2023 Southern Conference on Homelessness and Housing (SCHH), to be held October 25-27, 2023, is 41 days away! This conference is an opportunity for housing developers, homeless program managers, case managers, homeless advocates, state and local government representatives, providers of public and mental health services, and people with lived experience to come together to address the ongoing issues of poverty and the lack of safe, decent, and affordable housing in our region.

This year’s theme is “Transforming Communities: Building Inclusive and Sustainable Housing Solutions.” We will explore sustainable, inclusive communities and discuss how quality affordable housing can be sustainable in the South. Together, service providers, system leaders, advocates, and people with lived experience of homelessness will learn from each other, discuss best practices, and share innovations in the field.
