In October, Island Matters published a report on Clayton's Pier, saying that the 1,000-foot fishing pier they wanted to create seemed to be at a standstill. Now, the pier appears to be finished instead of expanding.
Umbrellas and chairs are at the end of the pier, along with a bartender station where you can order drinks and food. While the pier may expand at some point, it won't be anytime soon.
The ever-popular outside beach bar announced on Tuesday, with a Facebook post, their specials for the winter season. These specials will run from 12 noon to 5 p.m., with at least one special happening daily.
Monday - 5.99 Chalupas with fries
Tuesday - 5.99 Taco Tuesday along with 1.00 Busch Light
Wednesday - 7.99 Fried Fish with Fries
Thursday - 50 Cent Wings along with 1.00 Busch Light
Friday - 5.99 Quesadillas (Beef or Chicken)
Saturday - 1.00 Busch Light
Sunday - 4.99 ½ order of nachos with Busch Light
