Valentine’s Day Food Specials

Valentine’s Day in South Padre Island is a special occasion. Celebrating love with your significant other while surrounded by beautiful ocean waters is something very few places in the world can replicate.

 

Island Matters went to different restaurants to see what specials were available for people on the island, giving them options to choose where they spend their night with their loved ones. This is what we found.

 

Clayton’s Bar and Grill 

7.99 Fried Fish and Fries (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.)

 

F&B's: $150 per person.

  • First Course - Smoked Salmon / Jamon Iberico de Bellota
  • Second Course - Crab Cake / Bone Marrow
  • Third Course - Surf & Turf / Big Eye Tuna Capota / Frutti De Marre
  • Fourth Course - Chocolate Mousse

Gabriella’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria:

Five Cheese Blend Stuff Crust Pizza in the shape of a heart (available through Feb 19)

 

Sea Ranch Restaurant:

Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass with Sauteed Spinach, Cream Cheese, Mashed Potatoes with Three Shrimp and Two Mussels. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini for Dessert.

 

Bar Louie: $75 Dinner for 2. (Available through Feb 18)

  • First Course - Choice of Fried Calamari, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, or Truffle Mushroom and Asparagus.
  • Second Course - Choice of House Salad, Caesar Salad, or French Onion Soup.
  • Main Course - Choice of Citrus Grilled Salmon, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, New Orleans Chicken and Shrimp Pasta, or Steak Frites.
  • Dessert - Choice of Cinnamon Donut Holes or Decadent Chocolate Cake.

The Palms Cafe and Bar on the Beach: $119 Dinner for Two.

Includes two glasses of Champagne, One Shrimp Cocktail, Two Spinach Salads, One 6oz Filet Mignon, One Cold Water Lobster Tail, Potato Latkes and Asparagus, and One Molten Chocolate Lava Cake.
