The South Padre Island Police Department provided the following incidents from March 31st through April 6th, 2024:
3/31 - At approximately 12:24 a.m., a SPI Police Officer responded to Beach Park at Isla Blanca located at 33261 Park Road 100, regarding an intoxicated male who had fallen off a music stage. After investigation, the male subject was placed under arrest and charged with Public Intoxication.
3/31 - At approximately 11:12 a.m., officers were assigned to an assault case that occurred at 6700 Padre Boulevard. Contact was made with the reporting party, and an investigation was conducted. After the investigation, officers found that a person committed an offense of assault, a class A misdemeanor.
3/31 - At approximately 5:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to 121 East Acapulco Street, Unit 3, in reference to an assault that had just occurred. Officers made contact with a female subject who was placed under arrest for assaulting her sister and her husband.
3/31 - At approximately 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to 104 East Parade Street, Unit #26, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject who was arrested for assault.
4/1 - At approximately 1:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to 129 East Lantana Street, Unit #1, in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject who was arrested for Public Intoxication.
4/2 - At approximately 6:07 p.m., officers responded to 6300 Padre Boulevard in reference to a past theft. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject. The male subject stated that he had left his phone at a restaurant and when he returned, the phone was no longer there. Officers gathered information from the male subject and resumed patrol.
4/3 - At approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Padre Boulevard in reference to a possible physical disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the reporting party. The reporting party gave a description of the female subject that had assaulted her. Officers then later located the female suspect, and she was subsequently placed under arrest.
4/4 - At approximately 1:38 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Clayton's Beach Bar located at 6900 Padre Boulevard in reference to criminal mischief to a black Lincoln SUV. After investigation, a report was taken for criminal mischief amounting to more than $750.00 but less than $2,500.00.
4/5 - At approximately 3:06 p.m., officers responded to 104 East Sunset Street in reference to a past criminal mischief report. Officers determined that a male subject's vehicle was damaged without his consent.
4/6 - At approximately 1:01 a.m., officers responded to 4205 Padre Boulevard in reference to an assault. Upon officers' arrival, they made contact with a male victim who was bleeding from his lip area. The victim was able to identify the male subject that assaulted him. After officers' investigation, they placed the male suspect under arrest and transported him to the city jail for booking and processing.
4/6 - At approximately 11:43 a.m., SPI Officers conducted a traffic stop at the 1000 block of Padre Boulevard. The investigation revealed that the female driver had a warrant out from another agency.
4/6 - At approximately 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Padre Boulevard in reference to an eviction. Upon arrival, officers made contact with management who stated that a female subject was observed striking a male subject. The female subject was subsequently arrested for assault family violence and transported to the South Padre Island City Jail where she was booked and processed properly.
