Editor –– It is no secret that the air quality this spring has been awful due to the smoke coming from Mexico. So what is the response to this health threat?
Literally burning money for fireworks, which increase air pollution, cause noise, and pose inherent safety and fire hazards. Are cancer, asthma, and emphysema just minor nuisances that can be ignored?
