This process uses a panel of travel experts and USA TODAY editors to curate a list of the finest beach destinations across the Lone Star State. After weeks of spirited competition and thousands of votes from beach enthusiasts near and far, Isla Blanca Park claimed the coveted first-place spot, with Boca Chica Beach securing an impressive third-place ranking.
Isla Blanca Park, known as the "Crown Jewel of the Texas Coast," has a mile of soft golden sands, turquoise waters, and a wide array of amenities. Visitors can enjoy activities like swimming, snorkeling, beach volleyball, and jetty and surf fishing.
