Friends of Animal Rescue has rescheduled their open house to showcase new building plans to Wednesday, June 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the South Padre Island Community Center, located at 4501 Padre Blvd.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Jerry Nelson, the architect behind the new facility, and view the detailed building plans.

Later that evening, the organization will hold its annual fundraiser, "Raise the Ruff," from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Laguna Bob. This event aims to support the capital building fund for the new facility set to be constructed at 4900 Padre Blvd. Dr. Zog will serve as the host and provide musical entertainment for the evening.

Tickets for the fundraiser are priced at $20, which includes an entrée and admission. The event will feature live auction packages and a raffle, offering guests a chance to win exciting prizes.
