Margaritaville at South Padre Island opened its doors on June 12th, 2023. In one year, the hotel has placed in the top 10 in USA Today’s best new hotels in the United States and become a destination hotspot for anyone wanting to visit the coastal waters.
To celebrate their success and to thank all their visitors in the first year, Margaritaville announced Summer specials for their guests and anyone else looking to visit the property while enjoying their time at South Padre Island.
“Whether you’re a local looking for a place to unwind or a guest seeking the ultimate island experience, our summer events offer something for everyone,” said Daniel Haughan, general manager of Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island.
Landshark Bar and Grill, the Restaurant downstairs inside the Hotel, will have the following specials:
Tacos and Tequila Tuesdays
When: Tuesdays: 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Details: Receive half-off tequila flights, tequila-based cocktails and tacos.
A Pirate Looks at Wednesday
When: Wednesdays, 6 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Details: Receive half-off refreshing and tasty boat drinks (rum-based cocktails.)
Thirsty Thursdays at LandShark
When: Thursdays, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m..
Details: Get $3 off martinis.
Salty Bar Rim and Grill, the outside bar located next to the Pool, will have the following specials:
You’re on Vacation Happy Hour
When: Every day, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Details: Quench your thirst with $3 off your favorite frozen concoction, $4 Mimosas, and $5 Bloody Marys.

It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere Happy Hour
When: Monday-Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

A DJ will be present Thursday-Sunday from 1p.m. - 5 p.m. and live music bands will be playing from 7 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
