34th Annual CASIA Golf Classic Recap!!! |
Wow! What an amazing 34th Annual Golf Classic! As mentioned above, we had an incredible turnout with 112 golfers and even more exciting were the new faces that participated, awesome energy out on the course, and all of the great connections made throughout the day!
Golfers raved about the Tournament Prizes and CASIA is extremely grateful for the incredible generosity shown from everyone that purchased Duffer Packages and Extra Raffle Tickets! To say the event was a smashing success is honestly an understatement.
We also had the opportunity to recognize Andy Wilson, who has served as our Golf Classic Chairman for decades. Andy has been incredibly giving to CASIA and our members over the years and we have been privileged to serve the CASIA community alongside Andy. Click on the video below for a short snippet of the Award Presentation to Andy! In addition, we also had the pleasure of recognizing USA Central Station with CASIA's Enduring Commitment Award for their team's unwavering support of CASIA through decades of membership, sponsorships, serving on our Board, and countless hours of volunteering! To all of you who participated and supported our Golf Classic this year, Thank You!!
We would like to share a special thanks to all of our Amazing Sponsors including: ISC, USA Central Station, Security Supply, ADI, CENTRALARM Monitoring, JCI, Napco, and NMC plus all of the companies that stepped up to sponsor the Flags throughout the Course!! Without you the Golf Classic is not possible! |

Vendor Spotlight - USA Central Station |
|
|
|
USA Central Station was founded in 1981. Alarm Dealers could not afford their own central station and wholesale monitoring stepped in. Our ability to provide services enabled dealers to focus on Recurring Revenue. This enabled Alarm Dealers of all sizes to enter the business, making a profit on the sale and installation of system.
USA Central Station supported Alarm Dealers as they moved from hard wired systems and phone line transmission to wireless and cellular, home automation and now video. USA Central Station has been updating and introducing innovative technologies for the dealers to use. We were the first Central Station to embrace the Stages platform enabling USA Central Station to add services. Our operating platform with its robust features easily enabled video services. |

|
We introduced USALink - A dealer application that makes it simple for the Alarm Dealer to view their subscribers, check history, put a system on test, advanced testing schedules, updated contacts and so much more. We introduced USAConnect – Upon receipt of a signal at the receiver level an SMS text message is generated that enables a subscriber to cancel an alarm from their phone. No more waiting for a phone call. All can be done in seconds.
Cellular transmission was needed as talk of telephone lines going away began. We were the first to seek out a startup Company M2M who had a solid communicator and needed a partner in the US. We tested this product with our Alarm Dealers who embraced the ease of installation and reliability. Look at M2M today! They have a sizeable market share Internationally and we are proud to have been the leader in introducing this technology to our Alarm Dealers. M2M now has both security and Fire Radio. We also had the best promotional package in the industry for Alarm Dealers that dealt with 3G sunsetting! We have the best offering in the industry today!
Our newest venture is Video Monitoring. We do it well by promoting CHeKT. It is easy to install, reduces false alarms and it is a simple upsell. All videos come to us after “scrubbed” with AI. Our false positive has gone down to almost nothing. Last month there were approx. 7,700 activations and only 3 went to an operator. We will be looking at additional types of video going forward.
USA Central Station has not and never will compete with our Alarm Dealers. We think the winning combination for success is understanding what the Alarm Dealer needs; and the ability to enable our operations to deliver that through evolving automation and continuing to provide services that enable RMR growth.
With these things in place, success is inevitable.

Excerpt from Parks Associates:
Tech Giants: Comprehensive Service Providers of Interconnected Experiences for Consumers "Brand Perceptions and CE Device Purchases Consumers love their technology. Households are most familiar with Amazon. Consumers feel they understand what the company does and that the products and services are easy to use more than they feel the same for other brands. Amazon makes products that are easy to use as well as services that consumers enjoy, at a fair price. Amazon and Google offer services that consumers like, at a price point they find value in. Interestingly, Apple presents as company focused on privacy-first, but consumers feel that protection is on par with the other brands. Samsung is perceived as a company that makes good products that are also worth the price." |
