On Jimmy Buffett Day, Aug. 30, 2024, and Labor Day Weekend, Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island will support Friends of Animal Rescue as part of the brand’s “Day of Service.” To honor Jimmy Buffett’s legacy, the resort will host a weekend-long celebration, donating one dollar from each drink purchased in a special commemorative cup to Friends of Animal Rescue.

In the spirit of Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville Beach Resort will offer a special “Keep the Party Going” package throughout the weekend. For each night stay, the resort will donate five dollars to Friends of Animal Rescue. Guests who opt for this package will receive a commemorative “Jimmy Buffett Day” cup.

Friends of Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals on South Padre Island. Established in 2010, the organization operates as a no-kill shelter and provides various services, including pet reunification, adoption, veterinary care and wildlife assistance. Friends of Animal Rescue believes in the compassionate treatment of all animals and works tirelessly to ensure their well-being.
