Welcome September!
This past Saturday, our Focus Area Committee Members attended our FAC Training in preparation for Site Visits to begin this month. This was our first in-person FAC Training since 2019, and I loved watching connections be made among our members. The 90 ladies who are signed up as grant reviewers are excited, and I can’t thank them enough for being willing to set aside time to serve in this very important way.

Reviewers were challenged to focus on which two applicants in their category they wanted to fund and to realize that some applications would be stronger than others. However, all applications that pass our Finance Committee’s vetting are worth their time and attention—even if the project or organization is not as strong as the ones that will eventually become our finalists. As someone who has been part of an organization that applied more than once (A Bed 4 Me), I can attest that the process of applying is a tremendous learning experience and is not a wasted effort. I am so looking forward to being part of these reviews as much as I’m able to be and learning as an ad hoc participant about the organizations and their projects. Like many of you, I will not be voting until the Annual Meeting in November.
As we enjoy the cooler temperatures, I hope you will consider joining us on September 17th for our Membership Event at the Big Chill on 30A. See more info about this event below, and be sure to register so we can have an accurate headcount. If you do not receive an email letting you know that your registration has been received, then we don’t have you down as attending. Please keep following the online prompts as you register.
Mark your calendar to attend the Grant Finalist Reveal on 10/28 and the Annual Meeting on 11/10. More information and registration links about both of those events will be available ASAP.
It is also not too early to consider serving on our Board of Directors for 2025. Feel free to drop me a line/call, or text me, and we can talk. I’d love to take you to coffee or lunch and discuss the many ways you might like to be more involved. It’s true that board service is a responsibility and commitment, but I can honestly say that I’m so glad I said “yes” to serving. I feel richer for having spent the time in this way.

Just as there are evergreens in the plant kingdom, there are IMPACT100 NWF members who remain interested and involved year after year. We want to recognize the members who pledge to help IMPACT100 NWF stay vibrant and green by renewing their membership year after year.
To become an Evergreen Member, you only need to make this pledge one time. If your circumstances change in the future, simply let us know. Knowing that we can count on Evergreen Members each year will help us predict the number of returning members as we plan for the future.
As an Evergreen Member, we request that you make your annual payment before March 30th so that we can focus on reaching out to other members during the month of April. We would love your help with that process if you can help make phone calls. As always, your membership donation can easily be paid online with a credit card or by check.
Evergreen Members will be designated with a special Name Tag that can be worn to our events. You will receive an Evergreen name tag at no charge to you one time. If you are interested in being an Evergreen Member, please complete the following form. Deadline to sign up as Evergreen: October 15th

Member+ Name:
If you are a Member+ (donated $100 or more when you joined or renewed in 2024), we would like to thank you for your additional donation by giving you an Impact100 NWF name tag if you do not already have one but would like one. Please fill out this form by October 15th to order your name tag. (Your Member+ Designation will not be noted on the name tag. It is a generic name tag that matches the format of the others.)

The Membership Committee’s Goal is to place orders for nametags in batches to get the best price and have them to each of you no later than Annual Meeting. Those of you who order early will have them sooner.

2025 GLOBAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION |

Impact100 of Northwest Florida is excited to host the 2025 Impact100 Global Conference right here in Northwest Florida!
This conference will be made possible with the support of Impact100 Global, Impact100 of Pensacola Bay Area, Impact100 of Mobile, and Impact100 of Baldwin County.
Mark your calendars for October 26th - 28th 2025 - and plan to join us at the Hilton Sandestin to be a part of The Tides of Impact: Renew, Recharge, and Rise.
The 2024 Conference is meant for Impact100 Leadership, members interested in leadership, and members who want to better understand their place in the organization and learn more about contributing on a deeper level.
