NEW PRICING STRUCTURE FOR WPS MEMBERSHIP
WPS has decided to eliminate our two-tiered membership. New members will only pay $75 per year and will receive the full benefits of membership, including use of both the General Message Board and the Referral Message Board. Members will be able to promote their practices, including non-psychologist employees or affiliates, in all locations. If they work in an academic setting, it will cover their whole department. Membership also provides discounted tuition to WPS webinars for all of their employees and affiliates via personalized discount codes. This simplifies our membership structure and provides many more benefits to all members at a lower price.
Note that most of our upcoming two-hour webinars are designed to satisfy the Michigan biennial licensing requirements for Ethics (3 CE) and Pain Management (2 CE). We also plan to have a two-hour Implicit Bias presentation by mid-2025. |

Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan Conference Dear BAAM Members and Friends:
The BAAM convention is scheduled for Feb 20-21 at the Student Center at Eastern Michigan University. There are still a few spaces in the BAAM conference schedule for papers, symposia, and meetings. If you were unable to submit by the deadline and would still like to offer a submission, go to the BAAM Call for Papers page to electronically submit papers, symposia, and other events for consideration for the 2025 convention program. We are considering posters as well. If you are involved in state or national policy, accreditation, certification, licensing, and/or license reform, we would be very interested in updates on critical issues of interest to BAAM members.
BAAM Call for Papers on BehaviorLive
Note that the submission system has been updated. We are now using BehaviorLive, which will manage all submissions, registration, payments, and CEUs. You must register on the BehaviorLive Site to submit and register. You will also need to register on BehaviorLive to earn and process CEUs. Please tell us of any issues you encounter. Some of the entry fields will be in different places than you are used to. You may also use the direct link below.
BAAM considers proposals in all areas of behavior analysis—basic, applied, experimental, theoretical, historical, conceptual, and professional--consistent with its statement of purpose: The Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan has been organized to support and promote scientific research on the basic principles of behavior and the extension of those principles to create demonstrably effective and humane outcome-based therapies with the primary goal of establishing and enhancing functional independent living skills.

Stephanie Wright's path to psychology was grounded in a lifelong curiosity about human behavior and a desire to understand what drives people’s actions. This general interest naturally evolved into a career, and by the time she was in college, her direction had become clear. She pursued her master’s at Western Michigan University, aligning her studies with her passion for working with children and families.
Her career journey includes various roles across home-based and hospital-based programs, each contributing to her growth and eventually leading her to private practice. Constantly seeking to expand her skills, Stephanie has completed various advanced trainings, with a recent focus on the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). This trauma-focused model emphasizes understanding developmental trauma through the brain-body connection, a perspective she believes is crucial for supporting children and families. Moving forward, she hopes to train new clinicians in this approach and integrate these insights into her practice to address trauma's root causes.
Outside her career, Stephanie finds balance with outdoor activities like hiking and yoga. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes, exploring restaurants, and spending time with her family. Being a parent has profoundly influenced her professional outlook, giving her greater empathy and depth in her work with families, which she finds invaluable. She’s also recently taken an interest in gardening, although she describes herself as still learning. |

Donations are the Lifeblood WPS
|
As members of our psychological community, we invite you to join us in sustaining the valuable work of WPS. As a lean organization, we face financial constraints that jeopardize our ability to maintain essential services. The costs of custom software and our dedicated part-time staff strain our resources. These fees also pay for our website, our searchable member directory, our two-hour lunch time webinars by experts in their specialties, occasional in-person networking meetings, and other services.
Your generous donations will not only help bridge this gap but also ensure the continuity of our mission. Together, let's continue to nurture this community of psychologists. We are grateful for your ongoing support and commitment to our shared vision. |
