Message From The President:

For those of you planning to attend our New Member Orientation on June 5th--I am looking forward to getting to know you better.  You can still register by clicking the registration button below.  This event is for New Members as well as any member who would like to attend.  We will have sign-ups for Focus Area Committees available as well as our other standing committees.  This is a great way to learn about opportunities to serve and hear an overview of our schedule and activities for the remainder of 2025. A light meal will be served so please be sure and register ASAP for a head count.

We also have our June Member Social on June 19th at the Heritage Museum in Valparaiso. Wear a hat of your choice (historical or current day--or not--totally up to you) and join us as we are able to see our 2023 grant dollars at work with their building expansion.  They are excited to show us the items they've been able to display in the expanded space and to thank us for the 2023 grant.  The current exhibition commemorates the Vietnam refugees who were brought to Eglin AFB 50 years ago.  We will have some yummy BBQ so be sure and register using the button below.

If you are interested in serving on a Focus Area Committee (FAC) to review grant applications, the deadline to sign up for this is July 31st.  We have heard your suggestions and will be doing site visits on specific days of the week/times of day to allow you to select the FAC that works with your schedule.  I hope that you will consider being a part of this interesting and important work.  Grants are the very heart of what we do & you will come away from the process with a better understanding of the nonprofits in our community and their proposed projects while determining the two finalists for your category.  This is also the best opportunity to meet some amazing women who are your fellow Impact100 NWF members. You can find more information and the sign up button below.

If you have not downloaded our new Impact100 NWF App, I hope you will do so.  This is just one more tool that we've provided to our members to keep in touch.  You can log into the app using the same credentials that you use to login to our website and access certain "members only" areas on the app.  Use the QR codes below to easily find the app in whichever version of phone you use (Apple or Android).  If you need help, please email us at: techsupport@impactnwf.org

The 2025 Global Conference is quickly approaching and our chapter is one of the hosts along with Impact100 Global, Impact100 Baldwin County, Impact100 Gulf Coast and Impact100 Pensacola Bay Area.  The time to lock in your registration at the early bird rate of $550 is now.  This registration fee covers all of your meals from Sunday evening through Tuesday morning.   Here's an overview of the agenda to help you start planning:

*Onsite registration opens at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 26th

*First keynote kicks off at 4:15 PM on October 26th

*Monday, October 27th is a full day of amazing programming, beginning with breakfast at 8:00 AM and ending with a beachside dinner

*The conference concludes by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28th following our final keynote and closing session

With six inspiring keynote speakers, ample opportunities to network and connect with fellow chapters, and 20 breakout sessions covering topics like recruitment & retention best practices, grant-making, tech tools, marketing & social media, board development and leadership mindset & self-care tips, there’s something here for every chapter leader as well as future leaders. Over 35 chapters are already registered, and the host team can’t wait to welcome even more of you to this special gathering.

To register, follow the link at the bottom of this newsletter.  We will also be looking for local chapter members who are willing to serve in a volunteer capacity which does not necessarily require you to be a registered attendee.  If you have questions or would like to be added to the list of volunteers, please email me directly:  impactnwf@impactnwf.org

As you can see, there is a lot happening and many ways to engage as a member if you'd like to.  Don't hesitate to ask questions if you have them and don't assume that you are not welcome to jump in and get involved. I have added my phone number below for you to call or text with questions.  Please leave me a message as I do have a spam blocker turned on my phone.  I'll be happy to return your call.  Until next time!
