Impact100 Mobile Celebrates our 5th Year of Giving at Mardi-Gras Kickoff Impact100 Mobile members gathered in festive style on Tuesday, January 13, at the Mobile Carnival Museum to celebrate the organization’s fifth birthday and kick off the 2026 membership season. The Mardi Gras–themed evening honored the spirit of giving, growth, and community that has defined Impact100 Mobile since its founding. 2024–2025 President Rena Davis welcomed attendees and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their dedication and support over the past five years. She reflected on how the collective generosity of members has allowed the organization to grow and make meaningful contributions to the Mobile area. Incoming 2026–2027 President Stacy Cummings highlighted a major milestone in Impact100 Mobile’s history—the ability to award two grants in 2025 for the first time since its inception. In November 2025, the organization presented two $75,000 grants to Feeding the Gulf Coast and Prichard Preparatory School, marking a significant expansion of Impact100’s philanthropic reach.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear from representatives of both grant recipients. Cyndy Baggett, from Feeding the Gulf Coast, shared how food insecurity in the Mobile area has reached an all-time high. She explained that their $75,000 grant will help expand the organization’s Theodore warehouse, enabling them to better serve families in need. Portia Green, from Prichard Preparatory School, spoke about the importance of keeping children safe while learning. Their grant will be used to enhance campus security and ensure a secure environment for students.
The evening concluded with members joining together to sing “Happy Birthday” to Impact100 Mobile and enjoy fellowship, food, and celebration in true Mardi Gras fashion.
Membership for the 2026 season is now open through April 30th. Those interested in joining this dynamic group of women committed to transforming their community through collective giving can learn more and become a member at https://mobile.impact100global.org/membership/#become.

Board Members Visit 2025 Grant Recipients to Sign Award Contracts
Impact100 Mobile Board Members proudly visited the two 2025 grant recipients—Prichard Preparatory School and Feeding the Gulf Coast—to finalize their $75,000 grant awards. These visits marked an important milestone following the 2025 Impact100 Mobile Annual Meeting, where both organizations were selected by member vote to receive funding for their transformative community projects.
During each visit, board representatives met with organizational leaders to officially sign the grant contracts. These agreements outline the terms and conditions of the award, ensuring that funds are used exactly as described in each recipient’s grant application. The contract signing process reinforces Impact100’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and lasting community impact. At Prichard Preparatory School, the team celebrated how the grant will help expand security for students. Meanwhile, at Feeding the Gulf Coast, discussions centered on how the funding will strengthen food security initiatives and support families throughout the region. Both visits were filled with excitement and gratitude, underscoring the powerful partnership between Impact100 Mobile and these outstanding nonprofits. As the grant projects move forward, members can look forward to updates on their progress and the measurable difference these funds will make across our community. Impact100 Mobile is proud to continue its mission of empowering women to collectively give and transform lives—one grant, one project, and one visit at a time. |

| Qualified Charitable Contributions
Are you 70 ½ years or older and want to save on your taxes?
Consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution! If you’re 70 ½ years old, you can donate your membership dues directly from your IRA to Impact100Mobile through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) without the donation being considered taxable income. A QCD counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution while reducing your taxable income, which may be particularly beneficial to those who do not itemize deductions. This is not intended to be tax or financial advice. Consult your tax advisor and/or financial planner/financial advisor for questions and how to take advantage of this benefit.
