Dear Friends and Fellow Impact NWF Members,
There are no summer doldrums here at Impact100 NWF—we are hard at work as we welcome the month of July and move into one of the most important seasons of our year. I am reminded once again of the extraordinary power of women coming together with a shared purpose. Each year, Impact100 NWF demonstrates what is possible when generosity, leadership, and love for our community are combined into meaningful action.
July is an exciting and important time in our annual grant cycle. Nonprofit organizations that were invited to apply have finalized their 2026 grant applications, and the July 1 application deadline is here. This milestone marks the beginning of the next phase of our collective work: carefully reviewing proposals that have the potential to strengthen lives and communities across Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
After applications are submitted, Impact100 NWF will confirm that each application is complete before the review process moves forward. Financial review will take place July 15 through August 15, followed by Focus Area Committee review with site visits beginning in early September and concluding in early October.
Our summer season, proceeded by careful preparation and fulfilled through dedicated service, is essential to ensuring that each proposal receives thoughtful, fair, and careful consideration.
Our Grants Committee, Finance Committee, Focus Area Committees – In 2025 we had nearly 100 dedicated volunteers! - will soon begin the detailed work that leads us from applications to finalists and, ultimately, to the transformational grants awarded by our membership.
Thank you to every member who gives time, judgment, and care to this process. Your service helps ensure that Impact100 NWF remains thoughtful, responsible, and deeply committed to community impact.
As summer continues, I hope you will stay connected and watch for grant cycle updates as we move through each stage of the process. The work ahead is one of the most meaningful parts of our year, as members engage to learn about the needs, ideas, and vision of nonprofit organizations serving Northwest Florida.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable community of women. I am grateful for each of you and excited for all that we will accomplish as we focus on making a difference in the lives of others – Together!
– With deep appreciation, Mary Tinsley
