Jaycee Juice - February 2020
2019 JCI MI Year-End Recap
2019 was a year of growth. A year in trying new things. Our efforts did not go unnoticed. Congratulations to every member for helping us achieve top 5 for CLC chapters in Michigan.
CLC stands for Civic Leadership Certification. Chapters are encouraged to submit their CLC throughout the year to JCI MI to promote being a healthy chapter. Not only did we place number 5 for Trimester 3, but also number 5 for the year! Way to go!
Other notable awards presented in Ann Arbor for year-end were:
Jacob Anderson - Plant the Seed T3 *Presented to chapters or members working to "plant the seed" in growing individually or as a chapter; selected by the programming VP.
Jacob Anderson - Presidential Medallion *Presented by JCI MI president to individuals who go above and beyond throughout the year; the president can award up to 50 throughout the year and individually selects the recipients.
Jessica Anderson - Seiji Horiuchi Memorial Award - Outstanding State Director *Presented to up to 3 state directors in their role to better the organization; selected by JCI MI president.
Nicole Perry - Dave Lichwala Memorial Award *Presented to up to ten outstanding local presidents who complete an interview process; the JCI MI president makes the final selection.
