What happened: A sign on the property of the future Island Micro Hospital recently disappeared, leaving citizens confused.

Why it matters: The administrator of the Hospital project, Hector Ramos, says although no one knows what happened to the sign, he plans to have it replaced soon.

What now: Due to Covid-19, Dr. Joe Ybarra, and the Wilkinson group, based in Utah, experienced frequent delays. “The project is delayed but is still moving forward,” says Ramos.

Previously under control of the Wilkinson Group, Spimedcenter.com updates will now be administered by Dr. Ybarra or Hector Ramos.

Citizens should expect to see updates sooner, according to Ramos. “The Group is still in charge of leading the project. When it comes to timeliness and communications of the project plans, it will be available a lot sooner.”
