Chief Executive Officer of the Catalina Island Medical Center (CIMC), Jason Paret, will present to the city council tomorrow the similarities of medical centers on islands.

Dr. Ybarra encourages the public to attend tomorrow’s city council meeting in City Hall at 5:30 PM. He hopes to keep the enthusiasm over the hospital, “They’re (Catalina Islands) a comparison hospital for our demographics.”

Paret and his family are not new to island life since living in Australia, Hawaii, and islands in Alaska. In Paret’s twenty six years in healthcare he’s achieved significant operating and financial improvements for the organizations he has lead. He also brings with him important facility construction experience with two different projects, one in the amount of $20 million and another in the $50 million range.
