The guide has been the go-to resource for design-build (DB) professionals for over a decade. Companies and universities across the nation utilize it. Our speakers will introduce us to the recently updated and expanded Guide, which reflects the state of practice and a path forward with common principles that apply to all DB projects and market sectors and specific guidance for the Building sector.
Additionally, each part will delve into the new “playbooks” that provide targeted design management guidance for specific market sectors created to assist professionals in navigating the differences in procurement processes, project scope, team composition, BIM-readiness, and more.
In Part 1, Mark Rothman will:
Introduce participants to the Design-Builders Guide to Design Management and begin walking them through beneficial methods of using the Guide and its associated Workbooks.
