| 8/13/2022 | As a follow-up to our park clean up event, we have another event to benefit our nature and Greater Lansing Community. The Meridian Conservation Corps (MCC) will be planting native species at Tihart Preserve on August 13. It would be a good idea to wear long pants in case we are in tall grass to prevent ticks. MCC will provide the plants and shovels necessary to plant the species. You may want to bring gloves, sunscreen, bug spray and water for hydration. Joe has helped out with MCC a couple times before, and it has been fun and rewarding. We should be doing this in the morning before it gets too hot. more info... |

Join the Livonia Jaycees' for their 5th annual Murder Mystery Dinner!That's right folks, it's still on! Once again we'll be hosting the event at Burton Manor at 27777 Schoolcraft Road Livonia Michigan 48150 Individual tickets are $80, $150 for a pair of tickets, or $725 for a table of 10 guys and dolls you're happy to call friends! This glamorous night includes either a 3 course chicken dinner, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free option., an open bar (with a signature themed drink), a DJ/Dancing, a red carpet with Photographer , 50/50 Raffle and of course a professional Murder Mystery Show. Proceeds of this event will benefit The Living and Learning Enrichment Center and The Livonia Jaycees.
This event will sell out FAST so get your tickets before they run out. Make sure to mark your calendars for Saturday August 20th 2022. The event begins at 7:00 PM with dinner and the show starting at 7:30 PM. Ages 16 and up are welcome to attend.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? There is an open bar so IDs will be checked at the door. Is there a Dress Code? There is no official dress code however, the theme is a 1920s Hollywood. Think Great Gatsby style glamor.
