| 5/18/2023 | For this general membership meeting, we will be having Brenna Hudgens from EastSide FinLit speaking about bringing financial literacy to marginalized communities within Lansing's East Side. This organization focuses on teaching individuals from low income/ marginalized communities on how to better prepare themselves when entering the workforce, as well as showing them how to become financially successful. This is a brand new organization that will have workshops and seminars located at the Fledge in downtown Lansing throughout the summer. They have a decent amount of volunteers for the first few workshops, but there will be plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout 2023. Please consider joining us for this meeting at The Nuthouse in downtown Lansing at 6:30 PM to learn about this organization, and how we can help give back to those in need. more info... |
