Cash Conversion Cycle Optimization and Minimizing Working Capital

Please join the NWAFP for its April 18, 2024 in-person meeting at the Washington Athletic Club with our guest panelists Ross Hardy, Senior Manager of EY's Global Treasury Service Practice and Patrick Guilfoy, Treasury Consultant at Peak Treasury for a discussion on Cash Conversion Cycle Optimization and Minimizing Working Capital.

With interest rates at rates not seen in 20 years, companies are looking for ways to optimize the Cash Conversion Cycle and minimize working capital. Join a panel of corporate treasury professionals as they discuss strategies to optimize Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and better manage inventory. They will identify ways to gain buy-in from various stakeholders and share how technology can be utilized.

About our panelists:


Ross Hardy is a Senior Manager in EY's Global Treasury Services practice. Harnessing over 15 years of experience in the corporate finance and treasury sector, Ross has been a pivotal figure in centralizing treasury operations for cash pooling and working capital management. Also known for his expertise in building compelling business cases and delivering return on investment in advanced treasury systems, his insights have provided increased value to a variety of clients.
 
Ross' significant achievements include steering a global cash pool across stakeholders to meet global liquidity needs, assessing treasury operations to improve cash flow, and the full-service design-build-deployment of treasury technology. Notably, Ross also holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). 



Patrick Guilfoy, CTP, CTP(CD), Peak Treasury 
Patrick is a consultant specializing Treasury activities and corporate planning and analysis. He has held several senior treasury and finance positions in Fortune 500 companies. In these roles, he has been responsible for all aspects of the global corporate treasury, including cash, investment and debt management, forecasting and budgeting. Patrick is a past President of the NWAFP and has served on several committees of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). He holds a Finance degree from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of International Business from the University of South Carolina. Patrick is also a Certified Treasury Professional in the United States and Canada.
