In a class from Jan Jackson, she mentioned that an interesting but accessible arrangement of Greesleeves did not exist. This is my attempt to fill that niche. A YouTube performance can be found at https://youtu.be/L0g1KwoIWsI?si=Rn-kGUE-yD_lkoVd

The beautiful and popular Renaissance tune “Greensleeves” gets five fun treatments while being shared around the SATB ensemble. Occasional harmonic surprises add spice to the settings, as well as close interweaving of background fabric supporting the melody. The tenor line almost always gets the last word before the next variation begins, and a soothing handbells-style arpeggio runs downward through the group at the very end.
