CPAN Member Roundtable: Post-Election Recap and No-Fault Legal Update

On Thursday, November 14, at 3:00 P.M., CPAN will present a 90-minute member roundtable discussion. Legislative Coordinator, Kevin McKinney will share his perspectives on the recent election and thoughts about the remaining 2023/24 legislative session as well as the importance of advocacy efforts for the newly elected. Members of the CPAN legal team will discuss several significant appellate cases that affect the rights of patients and providers under Michigan’s No-Fault Law. Steve Sinas, Joel Finnell, and Katie Tucker will lead the discussion by explaining the key role that CPAN has played in these cases – and in sharing updates about their status or disposition before Michigan’s appellate courts. The discussion will conclude with a Q&A, where attendees are invited to raise questions regarding these cases – and the impact that they will have moving forward.
