Event Description
Elizabeth Cisneros, PhD, QME is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in brain injury.  
Dr. Cisneros will discuss how frontal lobe damage is the hallmark of TBI. She will review the functions associated with the frontal lobe, and how these are related to behavioral and emotional control and personality change. She will share with us the issues related to the frequency of depression, anxiety, impulse control, substance use post-TBI, and how TBI is often related to significant difficulties within relationships.
