DEADLINE: March 1 INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Nominations must be submitted on the official form yearly. 2.Information to support the nomination may be attached. 3.No other formats will be accepted. REQUIREMENTS: Significant participation in one or more of the following laboratory areas: Wastewater Analysis, Education, Training, Certification, and Management. 1.Must be a member of WEF/OWEA. 2.Must have ten or more years experience in the laboratory area. 3.Must have contributed to the laboratory field in a significant manner. EVALUATION CRITERIA: Induction will be decided by the Selection Committee consisting of a minimum of six members. The committee will use the following criteria to select a nominee for the award: 1.Significant participation in one or more of the following laboratory areas: Wastewater Analysis, Education, Training, Certification and Management. 2.Participation in the WEF Technical Practices Committee or OWEA Laboratory Analyst Committee 3.Papers or articles accepted by State, Regional or National publications. 4.Technical presentations made at professional conferences. 5.Involvement in promoting the professional recognition of the Wastewater Laboratory Field. OTHER: The Selection Committee recognizes and honors separately, both the inductees and their employers for their combined contributions, which promotes increased professionalism in the laboratory field.
