BECOME AN NWSA VOLUNTEER!
Would you like to be part of a national non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of women and girls through education and access to sailing? Do you have skills you’d like to put to volunteer work? If so, please apply to volunteer on one of our working committees, or to become a member of the board of directors of the Women’s Sailing Foundation.
We are a hard working board. While moving the organization forward and getting more women involved in sailing, you will be giving back to the sport you enjoy.
To serve as a committee member, chair or on the board of directors a person shall:
- reside in the United States (6 or more months out of the year)
- attend monthly / scheduled meetings as directed
- actively support the mission(s) of the organization or committee
- directors shall vote on actions and policies effecting the organization and/or committees
