A Practitioner Member is involved in bloodstain pattern analysis casework. An application for Practitioner Membership shall be evaluated and processed by the Membership Committee Chair.


A Practitioner Member has the following privileges:

1. May attend and participate in discussions at Business
Meetings.
2. Has voting privileges at Business Meetings and for
Board
Elections.
3. May hold office in the Association.
4. May attend and participate in Association meetings and
social functions.
5. May sponsor an applicant for membership.
6. May chair and serve on committees.

A Stakeholder Member must be:

1. Involved in the BPA field in a professional capacity but is not a bloodstain pattern analyst involved in casework.

2. Engaged in some aspects of the field as part of their compensated career (e.g. Researcher, Professor, Legal Practitioner, etc.)


A Stakeholder Member has the following privileges:

A Student Member is a student or bloodstain pattern analysis trainee.


A Student Member has the following privileges:

1. May attend and participate in discussions at Business
Meetings.
2. May attend and participate in Association meetings and
social functions.
3. Does not have voting privileges at Business Meetings or for
Board Elections.
4. May not hold office in the Association.
5. May not sponsor an applicant for membership.
6. May not chair committees, but may serve on committees.
