IFMA Clay Shoot 2021 The 2021 Sporting Clay shoot was a big success. Everyone took their turn shooting at that clay bird. Prizes were awarded and all had a great time.
February Chapter meeting The February meeting was a presentation by TX Pace Authority. Telling us about Facility savings using the TX Pace, Property Assessed Clean Energy (TX-PACE) is a proven financial tool that incentivizes Texas’ property owners to upgrade facility infrastructure with little or no capital outlay.
IFMA San Antonio 28th Annual Golf Classic The 28th Annual Golf Tournament was fantastic. It was held on September 26th at the Alsatian Golf Course in Castroville. Everyone who attended had a great time.

IFMA San Antonio Board Retreat 2019 The IFMA San Antonio Board of Directors' 2019 Retreat held on July 26th at Canyon Lake. The board discussed the coming year's events, tackled the budget and there was even a little time for some relaxation on the lake. It was a very productive session.
IFMA San Antonio 2nd Annual Sporting Clay Shoot The Sporting Clay Shoot was a wonderful event at the San Antonio Gun Club on March 29th. This event was well attended and a great time was had by all.
IFMA San Antonio February 2019 Chapter Meeting Our February 2019 chapter meeting was on the 6th at the Petroleum Club. Our guest speaker was Don Gilpin, COO, IFMA. Don will provide a State of IFMA report, and will also discuss topics including Credentials, RCIS and Councils and Communities of Practice.
IFMA Awards Gala 2018 The IFMA San Antonio Gala on December 14, 2019 at the Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade. This event is the chapter's chance to thank those who have committed time by volunteering and identifying those who went over and beyond for us in 2018.
2018 Elf Louise IFMA Members and family joined together and delivered gifts for Elf Louise on December 16, 2018. IFMA has participated in this event for 8 years to help give back to the community. It fills our hearts to bring joy to these children. Robert and Sandy Mosher brought their granddaughter and a friend with David Duval as Santa. Eddie Fisher did a fine job as Santa with his group of elves, Brad and Lynn Bauserman, and Laurie Montgomery with her son Mason.
IFMA Care Workday December 8, 2018, the IFMA Cares committee of:
Brad Bauserman, Dan Sanchez, Mark Martinez, Matt Nolan, Ronnie Golman, Jeff Whitner, David Duvall and Denise Martin. Justin Calvin installed a new sold wood door for the space on Thursday. Mathew and Solomon Martin, Devon Snedicker assisted and Jon Miller donated a chair and couch to be donated to one of the residents. The space was transformed from a drab uninviting space to a clean usable space with the addition of Cabinets, new sink paint and new led lighting. The space will be instrumental to continuing the outreach provided by the Life Choices group.
IFMA San Antonio 27th Annual Golf Tournament On Thursday, October 25th IFMA San Antonio presented their 27th Annual Golf Tournament. A great time was had by all. We had the addition of two bars; Bar 9 at hole 19 and The President's Bar at hole #6. A big Thank You to all of the sponsors and members who worked hard to make this successful.

September 5, 2018 Chapter Meeting The IFMA San Antonio September chapter meeting was held at Toyota Field. Dave Susi, Director of Toyota Field and Star Complex, will be the meeting speaker. After the meeting, everyone was able to tour the facility.

May 2018 Chapter Meeting The May meeting took place at SSFCU's new campus location.
Garth Erickson presented about the Facility Manager's perspective on constructing a new building after our tour of the facility. This new state of the art facility is beautiful with a gym, work out coaches, spinning classes etc. The cafeteria is restaurant style equipped with a fire grill. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch prepared by the cafeteria staff. We completed the meeting with a look at Event Center with its state of the art audio/visual equipment, it can hold an event of 500 people.

April 2018 Chapter Meeting Craig Nehrkron of Drone Dynamics will be speaking with us about Drones and their use and further potential in the FM industry.
March 2018 Chapter meeting Chad Cosper and Mark Peterson of SAWS will present a program on SAWS Conservation: Commercial Regulation and Rebates. The regular meeting will be followed by a tour of the H2Oaks Center, San Antonio's new desalination plant which pumps brackish water from nearly 1,500 feet underground in the Wilcox Aquifer and treats it to produce 12 million gallons of drinking water each day. We will transport to the Center in our personal vehicles.

IFMA San Antonio members attended their Holiday Awards Gala Friday, December 8th at the Weston Riverwalk. Whit Runion received The Facility Manager of the Year Award Brad Bauserman received The Professional Member of the Year Award Ford Savage received The New Member of the Year award IfMA Cares Committee won The Committee of the Year Award. A wonderful time was had by all as they danced the night away with the DJ.
IFMA Cares Respite Care Workday The November 4th IFMA Cares, Respite Care workday was a huge success. The group built and stained a wheel chair accessible ramp onto an existing deck and created a safe access into one of the houses by removing the existing unsafe river rock and installing decomposed granite to create this entry.

2015 August Chapter Meeting August's monthly meeting was focused on the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Mary Bartlett, AIA, RID, LEED AP and Associate Partner with Marmon Mok Architecture, shared information on the design of the building and some of its very unique features. The meeting was followed by a tour of the Tobin Center, which is located downtown San Antonio.

IFMA Showcase, Blue Book Networking Event Our Chapter was represented by Melissa Coo (Membership Chair) at the recent Blue Book Networking Event. It was a networking event focused on construction and vendor industries. We disseminated IFMA information regarding our activities and membership to attendees from San Antonio and as far north of Austin. We received a total of 43 business cards of interest.
Casino Night, April 2015 A night of fun activity -- this special event is created to provide a social network fun and enjoyment to raise funds towards our credentialing of chapter members and promote scholarships.
