Jeffery McMillian Joins Tarlton Human Resources Team
In 2022, McMillian started working at Tarlton as an intern on the accounting team, where he was responsible for accounts payable functions and communicated with vendors while pursuing his goals in higher education at Fontbonne University in Clayton, Missouri.
As an active student leader and member of a number of campus organizations, McMillian garnered the university’s Outstanding Award in Accounting Services. A May 2024 graduate, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and business management from the university.
In his new role at Tarlton, McMillian welcomes new hires, assists with inclusion and diversity, serves as vice chairman of the firm’s diversity committee and is secretary of the recruiting committee.
“We admire Jeffery’s community-driven spirit and diligence in all tasks he undertakes,” said Victoria Stanley, Tarlton human resources director. “His strength of character and wide range of interpersonal skills transition well to our many important functions in human resources,” she added.
