The 2021 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC®) addresses energy efficiency on several fronts including cost, energy usage, use of natural resources and the impact of energy usage on the environment.  Jim Dent of the Weifield Group and Kevin Perri of NORESCO will cover the myriad of International Energy Conservation Code changes that have occurred in recent years, and how they apply today. They will also cover how the energy landscape and building electrification requirements will change the way we execute construction in the future. From 2006 to 2021, the energy codes have increased its efficiency requirements by about 40%, an average of 8% per cycle — this rate will accelerate in future years.

3. Discussion around enforcement or lack thereof of the IECC.
4. Brief overview of the most salient changes to the 2021 IECC.
