    Our CRWA team has expertise in a range of technical areas including water and wastewater operations, technology and training. Water/wastewater Circuit Riders consult and train CRWA members throughout Colorado. Experience in the water industry exceeds 30 years for  many participants, while education/training is also substantial.

    Partnering with Advanced Technology Vendors, we assist members to gain access and understanding of emerging technology.

    Our goal is to help members improve energy efficiency, improve operations and treatment and substantially lower costs.

    Technology Providers work to provide innovative solutions to participants and help them achieve their business goals including improved energy efficiency, lower cost and effective water and wastewater treatment. Access to the newest technologies is not only available, but facilitated including pilot projects with specialized training and performance monitoring

    Our CRWA team is comprised of experienced water professionals who are passionate about technology and innovation. Water professionals with 10-40 years experience in the industry, and educational backgrounds that include business, chemistry, manufacturing and technology are available to facilitate your journey to the world of emerging technologies.

    Technology Users participate in the  Emerging Technology Program, with cooperative development of pilot projects utilizing the latest technologies designed to solve complex problems, improve efficiency and enable ground-breaking water and wastewater treatment solutions. Projects provide detailed plans to members , with access to funding, for long-term effectiveness and performance improvements.

    Emerging Technology Vendors

    Vendors-Agree to use system and ETP information to 'do no harm'. Protect the ETP webpage password(no sharing). Obtain permission before sharing related ETP information.

    Keep names/client information confidential according to Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) document signed initiating ETP membership.

    Respond to CRWA/ETP members upon invitation only (no cold solicitation).

    Act with professionalism, respecting CRWA & ETP Members and avoiding communication that could be harmful to Member reputation.

    Agree to avoid interference with Member organizational relationships and 'do no harm'.

    Emerging Technology Customers/CRWA ETP Members

    CRWA Members- Agree to use system and ETP information and agree to 'do no harm'.

    ET Pilot Project Fundamentals:

     Clear Objectives/Schedule/Resources, Pilot Projects Delivered On-Time and Under Budget. 

    CRWA Emerging Technology Program Objectives

     1. ID & encourage Emerging Technology (ET)
    2. Share ET information with members
    3. Improve ET understanding and access for members through projects, training and webinars.
    4. Strive to improve system efficiency and cost reduction
    5. Assist in ET pilot project trouble-shooting

     Manage all EPT funds in accordance with CRWA/NRWA policy.

     DO NOT RECOMMEND specific Vendors/services - Assure fair competition among Vendors.

     

    CRWA Staff Members/ETP Support Team

    CRWA Staff Project Leader- Each CRWA Project Leader (PL) agrees to assist ETP participants with good communication/coordination between all CRWA/EPT/Vendor members.
    Project Leader will strive to ID new and emerging technology with potential to improve system operation, solve problems and improve efficiency. CRWA Staff and ETP facilitators agree to protect the reputation of ETP Members and ETP Providers (Vendors), making every effort to 'do no harm' in actions taken and in all communications.

    CRWA ETP/EEAP Leader will establish a Project Leader (PL) and a Project Advisory Team (PAT) for each initiated Pilot Project to work with each Project Leader to verify project planning/execution. A clear and concise Project Charter will be created/documented to state project objectives, identify participants, funding and project schedule as agreed upon by participants.
