OKWIL Event: Dare to Lead
11/19/2019

Event Description

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to support leader agility, team effectiveness and culture change. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

Join Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator™ Linda Clark on November 19th from 2-4pm for a fast-paced preview of the future of leadership through the lens of bravery and courage. Leadership is not about titles, status, and wielding power. When we dare to lead, we don’t pretend to have the right answers; we stay curious and ask the right questions. We don’t see power as finite and hoard it; we know that power becomes infinite when we share it with others. We don’t avoid difficult conversations and situations; we lean into vulnerability when it’s necessary to do good work. But daring leadership requires skill-building around traits that are deeply and uniquely human.

  • What are the barriers to courage?
  • What blocks innovation, creativity, connection and performance?
  • Why are curiosity and grounded confidence at the heart of brave work and tough conversations?
