2023 MWEA Paddle With Purpose Thornapple River

Canoe rentals will be provided by Indian Valley Campground and Canoe Livery located at 8200 108th St., Middleville, MI. We will be paddling the Thornapple River from Sesquicentennial Park in Middleville back to the Indian Valley Campground, a trip of about three hours.
The cost of the trip is $90 for a team of two paddlers in a canoe. If you prefer to rent a solo kayak, the cost for a solo is $50 and the total cost for a two-person kayak is $95. You can also bring your own boat and donate $25 per person. We plan to return to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel by 5:00 PM in time for the Welcome Reception.

The Paddle With Purpose event will raise funds for Water For People, a WEF charity of choice, whose mission is to promote the development of high quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.
The MWEA Paddle With Purpose will take place on Sunday, June 18, 2023, as a part of the Annual Conference in Grand Rapids.
