Registration opens at 8:00 am:  Course starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 5:00 p.m. with coffee breaks and a 1-hour hot lunch. Coffee, Tea, & Lunch included.

OGWA 2024 Convention & AGM Information:

If you are registering for a Regional Training meeting and want to make it a more exciting worth while event - consider Registering for the OGWA Convention & AGM as well for Saturday, March 23, 2024. This way you can get a head start on the networking opportunities that the Convention & AGM offers.

Better yet come a day early on Thursday, March 21, 2024 - attend the St. Louis Blues at Ottawa Senators @7pm. The OGWA has secured a private suite which offers an exclusive atmosphere and premium amenities to watch the game and network. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, Transportation to/from the Brookstreet Hotel to the game. Additional cost is $150/person. Limited to 75 people.

After you attend the Regional Training session, stay the night at the Brookstreet Hotel and enjoy the Exhibitor Welcome event Friday evening with Entertainment, Hors d’oeuvres & Bar Service and then attend the Full 2024 Convention & AGM with Keynote Speakers, Divisional Meetings, Silent Auction & Presidents' Banquet.  We will be offering spouse and children activities as well.

Your Course Instructors:

Warren Lusk P. Geo is currently President of Lusk Geo. Warren is a retired Provincial Employee with extensive field, permission (approval) and compliance experience, Warren became the “go-to” subject matter expert on water wells and geothermal systems with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. Mr. Lusk has provided a number of CE training courses for the OGWA.

Greg Bullock is a licensed well technician and driller northeast of Toronto. Mr. Bullock is highly experienced at cable tool drilling and installation of equipment. Mr. Bullock has provided lectures to students at Fleming College and past OGWA CECs. He is a past president of the OGWA and will be presenting some of the case studies with Warren Lusk.

Kyle Smith is a licensed well technician and driller for Aardvark Drilling Inc. and leads a group of drillers and pump installers in the construction and abandonment of municipal to domestic water supply wells and a variety of test holes. Mr. Smith has provided presentations to OGWA members. He is a member of the Board of Directors and heads the Education Committee for the Association and will be presenting some of the case studies with Warren Lusk.
