This year OGWA has hired Nathaniel Rankin, The Canadian Champion of Magic, an international award winning magician & circus artist. His one man show Astonishment has been performed over 5,000 times in 45 countries and 5 continents. Astonishment combines state of the art modern magic, circus skills, dangerous stunts, audience interaction, comedy & mind reading.

**Saturday Lunch Symposium - Guest Speaker & Topic Information:
   Dr. Beth Parker on the Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute 

Dr. Parker is the Director of the Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute (g360group.org) at the University of Guelph. She founded this Institute in 2007, since which time it has grown to one of the largest university-based groundwater groups in Canada with a team of ~50 people including research associates, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, and technicians. She is also co-Director of the longest standing industry-funded independent research program in Canada, the University Consortium for Field-Focused Groundwater Research (theuniversityconsortium.org). She has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, the most recent of which include the 2022 O.E. Meinzer Award from GSA’s Hydrogeology division, the 2021 Tage Erlander Visiting Professorship with the Swedish Research Council & Lund University, and the 2021 Farvolden Award from the Canadian chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.
