Clinical supervision is an integral component to the training and development of professionals in the field of professional counseling. There are many ways to accomplish this goal. It is believed that group supervision offers supervisees with an important and unique learning context. It can provide a supportive environment where peers are able to share similar concerns and explore common skills and goals. Peer supervision allows licensed professionals to pursue activities around counseling and supervision issues salient to supervision practices. Triadic supervision, which is approved by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, enables supervisors to work with two supervisees simultaneously in supervision
