Event Description
Celebrate Global Day of Impact locally with fellow Impact100 members and guest of honor Wendy Steele, founder of the Impact100 model and CEO of Impact100 Global, at the site of 2024 grant recipient, Street Angels. We will be learning about their grant project funded by our collective giving, Showers of Hope! This mobile shower trailer program is designed to provide dignity on wheels to the Milwaukee community. Their guests receive clean clothing, towels, hygiene kits, a nutritious bag lunch, and a private hot shower. This program is not only meant for those experiencing homelessness; anyone in the community who is having difficulty accessing a hot shower (and/or an ADA-compliant facility) is welcome to utilize the program.
